I agree that the focus of a lot of the mainstream media outlets is not in sync with the interests of their readers. We're starting to see new web ventures try to solve this, and other problems that exist in the news industry. Given that this is an industry that still hasn't been completely disrupted by the internet, I really believe that the best is yet to come. We're trying to play our small part at NewsCred, which is soon to launch. Shafqat Nice post.
